The Stewart College of Languages is located in the center of Victoria. The harbor, the famous shopping street, Douglas Street or the Victoria Art Gallery are only a few minutes away by foot. The school has 12 friendly classrooms and the infrastructure includes a kitchen, two lounges and a computer room with webcams. Each morning, the school offers free coffee and tea.

You live with a painstakingly selected host family in a single room with full-board. Breakfast and dinner are eaten with the family, and lunch is provided for you to take with you. The school is approximately 20 minutes away by public transporation.

Victoria is located on Vancouver Island. The scenic, charming island offers many free-time possibilities: whale watching tours, excursions to Vancouver or Seattle, musuems, historic buildings, botanical gardens, a rain forest and a variety of beaches and harbors, and that is only to name a few. The school organizes free-time activities twice a week. Depending on the time of year, the activities during the week could be: sightseeing, participating in local entertainment, sports, picnics or movie nights. There is an information board, where students can see what the choices are; you can book and pay for the activities on site (some of the activities cost extra).
