The institute is in a Provençal villa overlooking the harbor. The gorgeous view of the Bay of Villefranche and the Cap Ferrat make the already spectacular ambience, one-of-a-kind. The teaching method of the school requires students to work in a concentrated and intensive manner. During the 4 weeks the adult students have class from 8.30 to 17.00 on weekdays (breakfast and lunch in the school's restaurant is included), where they will encounter a variety of learning environments in which they must use their language skills. Through regularly changing tasks and exercises, the students are constantly stimulated, allowing for maximum progress in minimum time. The school is an internationally accredited language institute, allowing for an interesting language program with professional support in a serious environment.

Student Housing
The institue has a range of modern, comfortable 2 - and 3-room apartments, exclusively for class participants. Each student has a single room and shares the bathroom and kitchen with 1 or 2 other students. Double rooms are available for students, who would like to live together.

Student housing is available from the Monday morning of the course start and must be vacated by 17.00 on the Friday of the end of the course. The address will not be given out before then. Should you arrive on Sunday before the course begins, we recommend that you book a hotel. Student housing costs should be paid directly to reception upon arrival and requires a 100.-- Euro deposit on arrival and will be refunded when the keys are returned.

Apartments
Studio
Furinished, one-room apartments (studios) are equipped with kitchenette, bath/WC, TV, telephone and washing machine and include weekly cleaning, hand towels and bed linens. The apartments are located in Villefranche-sur-Mer and are, for the most part, within walking distance of the school.

Higher Standard One-room Apartment
These apartments have the same amenities as studios, but are larger. In addition, they have a dishwasher in the kitchen and some have balconies with a view of the bay.

Higher Standard Two-room Apartment
These apartments have the same amenities as Higher Standard Studios, but have a separate bedroom and in lieu of a balcony, they have a terrace with a view of the bay.

The accomomdations are available from Sunday before the first class and must be vacated on Friday of the last class by 12.00. If you will arrive earlier or would like to stay longer, we would be happy to send you a list of hotels. The apartments must be paid for directly at reception upon arrival.

Travel
Travel by train or airplane to Nice. From there, take a taxi to Villefranche-sur-Mer (6 km) (a transfer by the school is not possible). There is also an infrequent bus to Villefranche-sur-Mer. Please note the school is located on a steep hill and you must walk from the bus stop up to it.

leisure time

On a beautiful bay, approximately 6 km east of Nice and 10 km west of Monaco, lies the picturesque town Villefranche-sur-Mer (8'060 inhabitants).
The scenic old town, the harbor and the citadel from the 15th Century are full of small shops and a variety of restaurants.
Every season, the school arranges excursions to famous places, for example, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Grasse, the French perfume and flower center, Maeght Fondation or the Picasso Museum in Antibes. Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo offer a multitude of cultural events, like the Nice Carnival in February, panel discussions with famous people regarding literature, art and politics, or classical and avant garde performances in the Théâtre de Nice. In neighboring Nice, there are nightly dinners, lively conversations or walks along the promenade.
