Idiom specializes in general and business-oriented language training for adults, business and industry specialists. The school is located in a quiet, sunny area in a renovated, patrician building from the Victorian era, approximately 15 minutes from the city center.
With its 10 well-equipped, birght classrooms, the school is the perfect place for concentrated learning. The pleasant atmosphere, the friendly and helpful staff, the personal support and the highly qualified teachers all make the course participants feel comfortable and promote success in learning. There is a large terrace where students can spend their breaks.
Students have access to a lounge, beverage and snack vending machines, computers with free internet access and WLAN throughout the area.

Host Family
You will live with a painstakingly selected host family in a single room with half-board. Most host families live not more than 30 minutes from the school. Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the train station or airport (arrivals between 09.00 - 21.00 hours).

Travel
Flying to Nice Airport is the most convenient way to travel. From there it is no problem to get a taxi (approximately 25.00 - 30.00 EUR each way) or take the bus, directly to the city center (approximately 4.00 EUR each way). For those who are staying with a host family, the family will pick up the student at the airport or train station.

leisure time
Nice is the pearl of the Riviera and enjoys the reputation of being a university town, a cultural metropolis and international beach resort. Nice is the largest city on the Riviera, with 350'000 inhabitants and is only approximately 10 km from the principality of Monaco and 30 km from the Italian border. Therefore, Nice is an ideal place from which to make short excursions in the region. Whether it is St. Tropez or Monaco, the areas around Nice are both beautiful and varied. In addition, Nice, itself, offers its visitors year-round firework displays, and with its museums, galleries, historical monuments, it is rich in art and culture. Visit the Musée Message Biblique Marc Chagall in Cimiez with paintings from the 17th and 18th Centuries, paintings from Manet and Degas in the Musée des Beaux Arts and the Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain with its Pop Art and classical exhibitions from Klein, Tinguely, Christo, de Saint-Phalle, Warhol and Licthenstein and that is only to name a few.
Idiom regularly offers free time activities, like visiting the old city of Nice, pub nights and visits to museums and theaters.
