In 1955, Frank Bell established the first Bell Language School in Cambridge. Today, over 50 years later, there are over 10 of these world class language institutes.
In addition to the school in England, Bell has a school in Malta, whose course structure caters to the needs of business people and adult learners. Through its small class program, only 6 - 8 students per course, the school enables students to take an intensive class with concentrated work. The school has 11 spacious, air-conditioned classrooms in a modern building, on the outskirts of St. Julians located near restaurants and shops. A variety of materials, such as books, magazines, newspapers and a mult-media center with internet connections and interactive learning software is available to assist with self-study. Additionally, internet access via WLAN is provided in the classrooms, for those who have brought their own laptops. The roof terrace, with its scenic view of the town, is the location where students meet during breaks.

This is the best way to improve your English, while simultaneously experiencing Maltese culture. We painstakingly select our host families. These families offer you breakfast and dinner and are located approximately 30 minutes by foot or bus from the school.

Due to its location between Sicily and Libya, Malta has the imprint of many cultures, although its 316 sq km makes it the smallest European state. With its southern sun, fun nightlife and cultural treasures, Malta is a great place to make new friends. Despite its small size, this island state has many cultural and scenic activites to offer, including: the small neighboring island of Comino with its blue lagoons, the ancient burial chamber in Hal Saflieni, the oldest known neolithic temple in the world, Ghar Dalam, the oldest inhabited colony on Malta or the Blue Grotto, an essential stop for all tourists visiting the island.
The school offers the students a comprehensive leisure time program, with activites such as: trekking, horseback riding, pub nights with live music and karaoke, diving, Fenkata Night, with traditional Maltese cuisine, visits to various historical sites, tours of the harbor, shopping and golf.
