South Africa

The Republic of South Africa is divided into nine Provinces. Valueable resources such as the precious metals gold and platinum, the process of industrialization, the excellent infrastructure and investment from International companies has made South Africa into what it is today.

South Afrika is a country of paradox; you can find breath taking natural rock formations, a great variety of Fauna and Flora, very modern architecture in the cities, untouched sandy beaches and old tribal rituals from the indigenous folk.

Be a guest in this mysterious land. Come and experience the cultural wonders of South Africa and let yourself be spoilt by the hospitality and friendliness of the South Africans.

Security
A subject that often arises when talking about South Africa, is security. Over the past few years, a lot has been done in this area. According to the moto 'Null tolerance' they have cleaned up the inner city of Cape Town. Many additional security measures have been undertaken to provide a secure environment in the city for tourists; such as the installation of video cameras, and extra security staff to patrol the streets on foot and with the help of horses. If you move outside this security area, we recommend that you take a Taxi in the evening. Occasionally thieves cannot be stopped, so be warned and do not leave your camera or jewellery laying around. Unfortunately violence is also present in Cape Town, however, it is mostly caused by conflicts amongst the inhabitants.
