Perth is the Capital of Western Australia and has about 1,6 millions inhabitants. Right on the water's edge of the Swan River it looks quite elegant. Perth is a very dynamic City with modern and historical architecture. It offers very outstanding quality of life and rather mild climate with an average temperature of 25°C in summer and 18°C in winter with 8 hours of sunshine per day.
In Perth there are many parks, cultural events, excellent shopping facilities, as well as inexpensive but very good restaurants. It's also a paradise for sports, since all kind of sports can be practised and this mostly at very low cost.
The closest beach is only 20 minutes away from the centre of the city and more beautiful and lonely beaches can be found along the coast.
Fremantle, the port of Perth, has developed into a multicultural and very charming place and the streets with its many bars and restaurants are full of life at night.
Situated in Australia's largest State, it is the ideal starting point to explore the spectacular Outback, fascinating national parks with unique fauna and rock formations and the endless coastal areas.
