Fremantle is the harbour of Perth and about 20 km away from the centre of Perth on Australia's west coast.
History, culture and art are reunited in this harbour city built in the 19th century. Its charme attracts many people to come to eat, stroll through the streets and enjoy the night life. There are many Cafés, restaurants, bars and pubs along the streets. There are many festivals taking place, since Fremantle has many different cultures. Its architecture, the historical background and the harbour atmosphere make Fremantle to a unique place.
The location of Fremantle is very good, because it takes only 20 minutes by train to the centre of Perth and also the beaches are not very far away.
It has also a very pleasant climate. During the summer month a nice breeze blows in the afternoon which is called «Fremantle Doctor».
