Spanish Courses Unamuno was founded in 1987, being one of the first schools of Spanish for foreigners in Salamanca.

We are a center in charge of the dissemination of Spanish culture and civilization. In Spanish Courses Unamuno believe that learning Spanish does not end in the classroom, so we offer programs with courses and cultural activities for the students to learn and live the Spanish culture Spanish Courses Unamuno receives annually an average 4000 students.

The class composition is varied, because we have pupils aged between 15 and 65 years, and coming almost from all over the world throughout the year, especially from Europe: Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Portugal, Russia … and from America: Brazil, United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Accredited Centre

In 1997, Spanish Courses Unamuno received 97 out of 100 possible points in accreditation by the University of Alcala, Madrid.

In 2008 we obtained a favorable report from the Cervantes Institute, allowing Spanish Courses Unamuno in Salamaca to join the network of accredited language centers in Spain. The only international accreditation system for centres teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
