Official Description (Provided by language school)
Our school in Cochabamba was founded in 1990. We offer Spanish course programs for all levels and all ages, that respond to the specific needs of foreign students studying our languages.
In addition to learning the language you will achieve a better awareness of reality in Bolivia and Latin America. Advanced students may specialize on Bolivian and Latin American literature or a subject of their choice.
We are a team of Bolivian professionals with a large experience. All 10 teachers of the staff have university titles and experience and passion for teaching languages and the cultural exchange with the international students.
The school is located in Cochabamba. Its location in the heart of Bolivia allows for easy access to all regions of Bolivia: the tropical lowlands, the arid high plains and the southern valleys.
Our neighborhood Villa Juan XXIII was founded by a miners’ cooperative in the mining center Catavi (North of Potosi) more than 40 years ago. It is well organized and most of the achievements of the neighborhood are fruit of community work.
The school is a one-story building built around a small inner patio. It has nine classrooms, an office/library/meeting room and two toilets. In front of the building there is another small patio where students and teachers gather during the half hour break to chat, plan afternoon and night activities and excursions, and enjoy delicious snacks, such as fruit juices, milkshakes, tea, coffee and sandwiches.
The meeting room is used for conversations, discussions and to show films; sometimes also for exhibits of national artists.
Our school has been endorsed by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Bolivia.
